THE MERIDIAN CLUB AT PINE CAY JOINS THE PRESTIGIOUS RELAIS & CHATEAUX BRAND
Pine Cay, The Meridian Club in Turks and Caicos Islands has received membership with highly prestigious Relais & Chateaux group.
The resort is the first hotel and restaurant in the TCI to achieve Relais & Chateaux status, and only the seventh in the entire Caribbean.
The Honorable Minister of Tourism, Josephine Connolly and Permanent Secretary, Cheryl Ann Jones and Deputy Permanent Secretary Mr. Arthur Been presented this monumental accomplishment to Kirk Aulin, General Manager of Pine Cay Meridian Club and Pine Cay’s amazing staff.
Connolly addressed the staff and congratulated them on their efforts and participation in such a challenge to be recognized by the Turks and Caicos Islands Government and on a Global level with the Relais and Chateaux flag.
Commenting on the accomplishment, Aulin told The SUN this is indeed a monumental day for the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Pine Cay Meridian Club Staff and Pine Cay the Meridian Club Hotel.
“This is a true testament to our staff that has taken interest in the training and executing to a plan that has proven to them they can operate at a luxury level. To be a member of Relais & Chateaux is a huge accomplishment and sends a message to the world that Pine Cay the Meridian Club is at a true Luxury Level and the services are second to none,” he said.

Kirk and Patricia Aulin in 2.5 years as management of Pine Cay the Meridian Club have managed to bring Pine Cay the Meridian Club from a 2.5-star hotel to a 5-Star Luxury Resort hotel.
Pine Cay, The Meridian Club, probably the longest continuously operating hotel in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) received this acknowledgement after rigorous inspection. Inclusion in the group comes only after a demanding investigation, including an anonymous visit by a professional inspector.
