TCHTA presents cheque to Reef Fund

The month of November – TCI’s Tourism Environmental Awareness Month (TEAM) – sees the association involved in their signature “Hello Tourist” program plus a donation to the Turks and Caicos Reef Fund’s “Adopt a Coral” program. On Monday, November 21st, TCHTA’s CEO, Stacy Cox, and Sustainable Tourism Committee Chair, Mona Beeson, presented a cheque for $2000.00 to TCRF Director Alizee Zimmermann. As a result, the TCHTA has officially adopted 30 corals to commemorate its 30th anniversary. This donation was facilitated through the Graceway Communities initiative, which allows shoppers who remember to use their reusable bags to pledge tokens to a program of choice.

TCHTA Members Open for Business After Passing of Hurricane Fiona

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos (September 21st, 2022) – Directors of the Turks & Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association announce that clean-up is underway, and their members are open for business after the passing of Hurricane Fiona.

“As we await reports from the sister islands, we can confidently share that members in Providenciales fared very well and have suffered little to no damage as a result of Hurricane Fiona,” shared TCHTA CEO, Stacy Cox.

Early morning situation reports revealed that Seven Stars, Grace Bay Club, Rock House, Point Grace, West Bay Club, The Palms, The Shore Club, Royal West Indies, Bianca Sands, Ports of Call, and Beaches Resort are all up and running with clean-up of properties ongoing. Most resort’s outlets are open, and others will be fully operational by end of day.
